On-Site Health Road Show

The Healthy Benefits Roadshow is an effective method of creating a whole site impact; it is highly visual, interactive and personal. It deals with all the lifestyle issues associated with positive health and therefore is of interest to wide range of staff. s.

Healthy Eating
Waist, weight and height measurement, percentage body fat measurement, healthy eating display

Mental Health
Bio dots, massage chairs, stress questionnaire, aromatherapy oils/books/massagers/juggling balls and blood pressure testing

Smoking and Alcohol
Drinks display &‘pour a drink’ activity, alcohol units, a Smokerlyser monitor will measure levels of carbon monoxide in the blood stream. The peak flow-measuring test is used to identify levels of lung power

Physical Activity
Step test, which determines heart and lung capability to sustain exertion, flexibility and strength tests.

Men’s and Women’s Health
This activity is based on the European Code against Cancer (2003). Staff identify lifestyle changes that will make a significant difference in their chances of developing avoidable cancers

Each topic area is research based and reflects current Government guidelines.
